Quarter heifer delivers approximately 100 lbs of premium cuts. Half gives you 200 lbs. Whole animal brings 400 lbs to your table. Every order includes steaks, ground, specialty cuts and pre-made products.

Cuts may vary slightly per box depending on the individual animal, but you will always get a minimum of 90lbs.  Typical box includes:
3-5 Ribeyes
2-4 Sirloins
4-6 NY Striploins
3-4 Flank/Skirt Steaks
2-4 Tenderloins
4 lbs bourguignon stew cubes
4 lbs ribs
20lbs lean ground individually packaged
Variety of premade burgers, pepperoni, breakfast and dinner sausages, summer sausage, Cherrywood jerky, smokies and bacon.

Quarter needs 4-5 cubic feet. Half takes 8-10. Whole animal requires 16-20. Anything bigger than a quarter means you’ll want a chest freezer.

A heifer is a young female bison that hasn’t had a calf yet. Think of her as being in her prime – typically 18 to 24 months old when we bring her into our finishing program.

These are the animals that produce our finest meat. Young, healthy, and ready to put on that perfect marbling and flavour we’re known for. We take these heifers and slowly grain-finish them on our homegrown barley and oats for 120 to 150 days.

When we say we’re taking orders for heifers, we’re talking about the best animals we raise.

Circle W Bison has been so fantastic to work with from ordering their delicious bison, making it streamline easy to pick up and has offered fantastic customer service since. It is always worth purchasing meat from a local farmer than any grocery store. Quality is unmatched.  I cannot even express how incredible this meat is.  I cannot even decide what my favourite thing is. If you care about where your meat comes from with high quality standards in both their product but even with the end results (they included cooking hints and recipes), a local (Eckville) family company that also supports local — PLEASE go check them out. “As a busy professional and the main cook in the house, we were thrilled to find Circle W Bison as another red meat option. We try to adhere to a strict healthy keto diet and always looking for alternative meat sources other then the grocery store. The steaks are tender and flavourful as are the bourginon cubes which makes sense given they are end cuts of the ribeye loins.  The bacon, smokies, pepperoni and meat sticks make for a quick and healthy snack for our boys.  Its great to know where our meat is coming from!”
